Biography
Dick
Reizner, who has been called a real life MacGyver and
the "Helouise of the Production field", is a working
Cameraman / Director of Photography, and Consultant.
Dick
has used film and video to do everything from Network
News to Commercials and Training Programs to Live Satellite
Feeds. He brings 38 years experience in all phases of
television to each project.
His
work has been recognized by an Emmy, a CINE Golden Eagle,
an ITVA Reel of Excellence and many other awards. He
includes among his clients: Prime Sports Network, Amdahl,
QVC, US Information Agency, US Dept. of Labor, Price
Waterhouse, DuPont, Thomas Kinkade, and The Jerry Lewis
Telethon.
Dick
is sought after as a speaker by professional groups
both in the United States and Europe. His "MIXED BAG
OF TRICKS" has been among the most popular production
workshops for many years.
He
was chosen by ROSCO Laboratories as the on camera expert
talent for their "Lighting in the Real World" video
tape series.
A
pioneer in the field of Legal Video he was one of the
nation's first Certified Legal Video Specialists and
was selected as a member of the California Legislature's
Legal Video Advisory Board and the ITVA and Association
Of Professional Videographers Legal Video Accreditation
Committees.
He
has improved snapshots and home videos of passengers
as an Official Photo Lecturer onboard Princess Cruise
Lines ships.
His
monthly column "Tips To Clip" is the most popular feature
in AV VIDEO / MULTIMEDIA PRODUCER magazine. His writing
has also appeared in VIDEO TOASTER USER, LOWEL LIGHT
NEWS, New Zealand's ON FILM and many other publications.
Dick
served two terms as President of the San Francisco chapter
of the International Television Association and is currently
their Communications Director. He is a member of the
American Society of Lighting Designers, SMPTE and many
other professional groups.
